On the 31st of May 2025, the Department of Justice and the Constitutional Development in partnership with the Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture took the initiative to rebury the remains of Thabo Mosala a political activist from Matatiele.
Thabo Mosala lost his life in detention during the apartheid era, his life and commitment to a united democratic South Africa speaks volumes as his death continues to inspire current efforts to find truth and justice and bring closure to the families of those who lost their lives during the apartheid government.
